SAP DB in AIX
You can install your own SAP DB in AIX.
We provide download packages for all SAP DB software.

We recommend that you use the latest version of the C++ runtime library
for the operating system release.
(Tested in AIX 4.3.3.0 and C++ runtime 5.0.0.0) |

Installation Steps
- Download the relevant
tgz package(s).
The installation program will unpack the software to a local directory of your choice.
A version-dependent subdirectory will be created there, which contains the installation packages.
Check whether your browser changes the package extension from tgz to tar during the download. If so,
rename the package to tgz before installing it.
- All SAP DB Software(48 MB)
- It is recommended to use the webtools from release 7.4, these can be used with databases of release 7.3.
- Install the software as per the instructions given in the relevant installation guide:
