How the Database Manager GUI Works
The Database Manager GUI is an easy-to-use tool that can manage any number of local or remote
database instances. The Graphical User Interface (GUI) of the Database Manager communicates with the DBM Server of the current database instance and enables users to use the DBM Server functions.
You use the Database Manager GUI for the following activities:
Creating a New Database Instance Displaying Information Options for Diagnosing Problems Backup Installing an Update of the Database Software Database Instance Administration User Management Recovery
