tgz Package Installation in Linux

From here you can download the tgz package.
Once you have finished the installation, it is recommendable to create and test a sample database.



Additional Prerequisites

  • glibc 2.1x (x=1-3)
  • libpthread 0.8


Installation Steps

  1. Download the tgz package:

      Check whether your browser changes the package extension from tgz to tar during the download. If so, rename the package to tgz before installing it.

  2. Install the software as per the instructions given in the installation guides:

  3. Create and test a sample database
