Creating, Executing, and Saving SQL Statements

You can enter your SQL statement in the SQL dialog window.

• To clear the window, choose SQL Dialog -> Clear Window.
• To comment out a row, use two slashes (//) or two successive hyphens (--) at the start of the row.
• To execute the SQL statement, choose SQL Dialog -> Execute.

You can save your newly created SQL statement in a selected folder.
You can open stored statements, edit or execute them.
If you want to execute several SQL statements at the same time, enter them in the same window and separate the individual statements from one another by entering commented-out separator lines.
To scroll through the statement history of the current database session, choose SQL Dialog -> Previous Statement or SQL Dialog -> Next Statement.
