SAP DB in Tru64

You can install your own SAP DB in Tru64.
We provide the complete SAP DB software for downloading.


Prerequisites

RAM 128 MB
Free hard-disk space 200 MB
plus database size
Tested in Tru64 UNIX 5.1A, patch kit 2, kit name T64V51AB02AS0002


Installation Steps

  1. Download the relevant tgz package.

      Check whether your browser changes the package extension from tgz to tar during the download. If so, rename the package to tgz before installing it.

  2. Install the software as per the instructions given in the installation guides:
    Database Software Installation Guide: SAP DB 7.4
    Web Tools Installation Guide: SAP DB 7.4

  3. Create and test a sample database
