Database Manager

The Database Manager is the tool for administrating SAP DB databases.
It is used for creating and monitoring database instances on the local computer or on remote computers. You can use the Database Manager to carry out backups and, if necessary, recoveries. Three different clients and a script interface are available.

The software for the Database Manager CLI and the Web DBM are part of the SAP DB Software package for the relevant platform.

SQL Studio

The SQL Studio is a database tool that enables easy access to application data and the database catalog of an SAP DB database instance. You can create, execute, and manage any number of SQL statements. You can create, display, or change database catalog objects.
Two different clients with a different scope of functions are available.

The software for the Web SQL Studio is part of the SAP DB Software package for the relevant platform.

SAP DB Loader

The SAP DB Loader is a database tool for loading and unloading data.
In addition to processing Loader commands, the SAP DB Loader can also execute all SQL statements.

The software for the SAP DB Loader is part of the SAP DB Software package for the relevant platform.
You can call the SAP DB Loader through the processing of a Perl or Python script.
