SAP DB in Solaris

You can install your own SAP DB in Solaris.
We provide the complete SAP DB software for downloading.


Prerequisites

RAM 128 MB
Free hard-disk space 200 MB
plus database size
Tested in Solaris 8 with patch nos. 108434-07 (C++ runtime) and 108435-07 (C++ runtime 64)


Installation Steps

  1. Download the relevant tgz package.

      Check whether your browser changes the package extension from tgz to tar during the download. If so, rename the package to tgz before installing it.

  2. Install the software as per the instructions given in the installation guides:

  3. Create and test a sample database
