SAP DB Administration
The tool for administrating SAP DB database systems is the Database Manager.
With the help of the Database Manager you can create, control, monitor, backup, and
recover databases on the local computer or on remote computers.
You can choose between three client versions. They all provide basically the same scope of functions.
The Database Manager GUI can be run on Microsoft Windows systems only. However, it can also administrate UNIX databases.
The Database Manager CLI is a command-line oriented client and therefore operating-system-independent.
The Web based client version is installed once in the network. It can then be called from all
browsers.
The software for the Database Manager CLI and the Web DBM are part of the SAP DB Software package for the
relevant platform.
The software for the Database Manager GUI can be downloaded
