SAP DB - Release 7.4

version of SAP DB 7.4.
Several new features have been implemented in this version:
- System volume dropped
- Converter cache dropped
- Database size can be reduced
- Converter striping
- Improved log management
- Separation of before and after images
- Checkpoints are obsolete
- Parallel archiving of log entries
- Parallel writing of before images
- Improved backup
- In-place migration
- Parallel reading and flushing of the converter
- User-specific default code for character data is supported
Coming soon:
Parallel opening of files for backup and recovery
Thread load balancing for user tasks (previously announced as task hopping)
Planned for future versions:
Hot standby, locking of all pages via data cache, console thread ...
